November 2022 - current

DELMIAWorks Manager

SandenVendo America Inc

SandenVendo America Inc. began the implementation of DELMIAWorks in 2019. During the implementation process, they had several unique challenges that required special consideration. I accepted an offer to help them resolve their implementation issues in July 2021. I have been utilizing Agile methodology to implement a new version of DELMIAWorks. Over the last year, I have assisted in providing solutions for process improvement, system security, training, documentation, design of business intelligence dashboards, and user support.

July 2021 - November 2022

Chief Integration Officer (CIO)

Elliott Homes LLC

Elliott Homes LLC was attempting to integrate Artificial Intelligence into their home building process. I acquired and led a complete Agile software development team. We covered the spectrum of the SDLC: Business Analyst, Designer, Developers, QA, and DevOps. Together we built a custom ERP based on the vision of the President and Founder, Brandon Elliott. Lastly, I researched and created a 3-year plan to address the overall state of technology that supported current business growth while utilizing a cost-effective strategy.

December 2020 - May 2021

Director Project Management Office

AmercareRoyal LLC

I worked with the Chief Operating Officer, Chip Oxendine to create ACR's first PMO. During this time, I led the department that integrated project management processes and functions to improve the efficiency of ACR's project delivery. Working with leadership, I defined the PMO strategy and implemented a common project management framework that introduced new standards and tools to drive and facilitate the efficient and successful delivery of projects. Working with my team, we executed the PMO governance to provide a holistic view of all organizational project activities. While working with cross-functional teams, I managed interdependencies and coordinated across the ACR portfolio to ensure on-time deliverables, risk assessments, and effective communication between project managers and stakeholders. To accomplish this, I identified and defined the major strategic issues for ACR and integrated diverse stakeholder interests. That assured the development and prioritization of project initiatives and allowed leadership to be proactive in their risk mitigation.

October 2018 - May 2020

Technologist / Project Manager

Lamar Trailers Inc

Lamar Trailers Inc offered me the opportunity to help them improve their infrastructure and integrate their newly acquired ERP, IQMS (which would become DELMIAWorks). To accomplish this, I conducted a detailed site assessment that allowed me to create the project plan that required upgrading the network infrastructure. We deployed media and hardware to cover the 500,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. I designed and executed a successful project plan to move current physical servers to the Cloud and to continue future growth on an Azure platform.

March 2018 - September 2018

Director of Information Technology

Load Trail LLC

Load Trail Trailers LLC is one of the largest utility trailer manufacturers in the world. They offered me an opportunity to assist them as their Director of Information Technology. During my seven years as the Director of IT, I designed and led the newly formed department to establish a complete service desk utilizing the Zendesk platform. The infrastructure for LTTs multiple facilities required fiber connections to increase stability. I worked with C2M Technology in Dallas to install and configure approximately 10 miles of new fiber connections and accompanying data cabinets. LTT was one of the first steel manufacturers to acquire IQMS. Their implementation was different from most. Many issues were "first instances" for IQMS. The project required extensive process engineering that determined the design of the software.

March 2011 - March 2018

Director of Information Technology

Associated Centers for Therapy | COUNSELING & RECOVERY SERVICES OF OKLAHOMA

In 2008 I was offered the opportunity to lead the IT Department for the ACT. Over the next three years, I worked with cross-functional teams to develop and lead projects that increased technological efficiency throughout the organization. Working with leadership, I established a framework based on HIPAA guidelines that would assure the protection of patient data. My team and I designed an integrated service desk based on the Zendesk software as a service model. Together we built and maintained a comprehensive TeleDoc system that allowed doctors to assess patients at/from courtrooms and satellite facilities.

March 2008 - March 2011

Director of Information Technology

Sagebrush Winds LLC

Sagebrush Winds LLC was a logistics company that provided shipping for wind energy-related companies. I accepted the opportunity to build a new IT department with an integrated service desk for the newly formed company. Starting with me in the department, I acquired and led a team that supported 50 people in the office and several professional drivers over the next few months.

April 2005 - January 2008

Information Technology Business Analyst

Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center

In 2001 I was offered the opportunity to help WNJ provide excellent service to their patients. My primary role was the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Oracle-based hospital information system. I created the process that established and maintained interfaces between Cloverleaf and the HIS. Over the next three years, I provided daily support to end-users of A4 and assisted with the beginning stages of McKesson HIS implementation.

Interests

Apart from being a Maker, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. In the winter months, my family and I are amateur snowboarders and novice trail conquerors. During the warmer months, we enjoy mountain biking, hiking, camping, scuba diving, and rafting.

When forced indoors, I follow a number of sci-fi and fantasy genre movies and television shows, I am an aspiring chef, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest information security advancements developing throughout the world.

Any free-time between the latter activities is spent in books. My booklist is below with a small synopsis (my opinion) of the book.

  • The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
  • Primal Leadership
  • Vital Lies, Simple Truths: The Psychology of Self-Deception
  • Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap... and Other's Don't
  • The Art of Invisibility
  • Art of Deception
  • Countdown to Zero Day
  • The Code Book
  • Dark Territory
  • Data and Goliath
  • Threat Modeling: Designing for Security
  • Social Engineering: The Science of Human Hacking
  • RTFM: Red Team Field Manual
